Honorary President Dongsheng Chen

Chairman and CEO of Taikang  Insurance Group.  PhD in Economics.  President of China Association of Actuaries. Vice President of the Insurance Association of China.  Vice President of China Association of Auctioneers. Director-General of China Entrepreneurs Forum.

Chen founded the country’s first world-oriented auction house, China Guardian Auctions in 1993 and served as Chairman and General Manager.  Then in 1996, he founded Taikang Life Insurance Company.

He initiated and established Shing-Tung Yau Science Award together with Professor Shing-Tung Yau in 2008.
